◆ PCS INTELLIGENCE

Assessment methods and evidence

Five tier choices: 10, 20, 50, 100 and 250, with equal quota across ten cognitive domains. The 1,000 item bank contains generated variations and requires independent content review, measurement calibration and external validation.

The IQ reference bell curve is based on conventional IQ scoring (mean 100 and standard deviation 15). Using that accepted reference curve does not convert arbitrary PCS percentage-correct scores into real verified IQ numbers. No empirically supported PCS score-to-IQ conversion is available.

Research records require participant opt-in; they store selected item IDs, correctness, category, response durations, and optional age-band and language data for item quality evaluation. This is a convenience sample, not representative norming.

Calibration and verification checklist: reviewed answer keys; adequate observations per item; item-rest discrimination; fitted IRT parameters; local independence checks; representative age-stratified norms; measurement invariance; external standardized-test agreement; reliability, retest and interval coverage. Unproven requirements remain unchecked in reports.

Working-memory items present a short-lived stimulus. Timings are affected by browser and device characteristics. Results are not for clinical, employment or educational placement decisions.
